Daughters of the King Retreat

The Castle Chapter of the Daughters of the King is sponsoring a retreat day about Corrie ten Boom, a former concentration camp prisoner This is a retreat day staring at 9:00 AM. We will be gathering between 8:30-9:00 AM for a continental breakfast and then starting the program at 9:00 AM. All adults are welcome to join us.

We will be watching a movie entitled "The Hiding Place". After the movie we will hear from Linda Richardson, a retired priest from Wheaton who knew Corrie while both lived in California. After Linda talks, there will be a time for Q & A.

There will be a lunch served after the talk and a chance to talk with Linda  if you wish. We will complete the retreat day by 1:30 PM at the latest, but it may end earlier.

There is no cost to attend this retreat day. All are welcome.

Come join us for a day of spiritual fellowship and study. Please RSVP to Jan Bruesch (630-629-8547) or Carla Castle (630-903-6359) so that we can make accurate plans for food.
