Welcome to Calvary!

We are a family of young, old, and somewhere in-between. Together we share both good times and bad. Our goal is simple: to seek and find guidance for daily living in our Sunday worship and then, to bring the Good News out into the world and live it.

We invite you to visit, worship and celebrate with us. All are welcomed here -- YOU are welcomed here!

Tot Town Now Open

Tot Town is Drop-in Playtime for Families! Join us on Thursdays, 9-11am in the Parish Hall for some coffee, tea and adult conversation while the kids run and play! It's a great chance to get out and meet your neighbors, and there's plenty of toys and games to keep the kids entertained. All are welcome! Free parking behind the church. (Note this is not drop-off day care.)

Christmas Eve Services

Christmas Eve Advent Service: 9:30am

Christmas Eve Services: 4:30pm and 11:00pm

Long Night Service

Join Calvary as we share in this Long Night Service for Prayers of Healing, December 21st at 7pm, at the First Church of Lombard (220 S Main St, Lombard). This ecumenical quiet service is for anyone who is suffering in body, mind, or spirit during the holidays: Those who have lost loved ones, who are divorced or widowed, suffering depression, lost their jobs, or are simply mindful of the pain of the world. Set on the longest night of the year, the service is meant as a loving community of care as we wait for the light to return.

Celebration of Ministry

We give thanks that the Rev. Maureen O’Connor (Mother Mo) has accepted our call to become our permanent Rector!  Please join us on December 19 as we celebrate her official installation at Calvary.

Join us for coffee hour each week!

After our worship service All are welcome to join us for coffee, pastries and good conversation in the Parish Hall, to the left of our worship space. This is the time when we come together to get to know each other a little better. If you notice a new face, please go up and introduce yourself. If you are a new face, welcome! We are glad to have everyone with us.

Donate online- NEW!

Calvary is pleased to announce the introduction of an electronic option for making regular offerings. Contributions can now be debited automatically from your checking or savings account. Our new electronic giving program offers convenience for you and provides much-needed donation consistency for our congregation. If you are currently giving on a weekly basis, you will no longer need to write out 52 checks a year or prepare 52 envelopes. And, when travel, illness or other circumstances prevent you from attending services, this program can allow your weekly offerings to continue on an uninterrupted basis.
